Felix the Cat History
Felix, created by Otto Messmer for Pat Sullivan's Studio, New York,
made his first appearance in a short production called Feline
Follies.

An Early Felix
|
The production was part of a Paramount Magazine serial release to
Paramount-Publix Theatres in November 1919. Later Felix the Cat
became televisions first animated superstar.

Felix the Cat: Early Years
|
The years that followed brought worldwide attention to the Cat. Felix
later made the transition to print. The character 'Felix' was
syndicated in over 250 newspapers and later, comics in a multitude of languages.
